Cookie Zustimmung - welches Plugin

Im Grunde egal welches, es muss nur zu Deinen Anforderungen passen und entspr. für Deinen Website eingerichtet werden.

Oft besteht der Irrglaube, man müsse nur irgendein Cookie Plugin installieren und alles wäre damit erledigt.

Derzeit werden auf Deinem Website beispielsweise externe Inhalte von facebook, youtube, google eingebunden, das darf alles erst nach Zustimmung erfolgen.

 

Dafür braucht man nur einen Blick in die Entwicklertools des eigenen Browsers werfen. Leider weiß ich nicht welche Webseite gemeint ist da die Angabe hier wiedermal fehlt.

Weil hier immer wieder von Cookies die Rede war und ich selber jetzt auch sensibilisiert bin. Ich hab mich damit bis dato noch nicht ausreichend vertieft. Da muss ich mich orientieren. Ich gucke mir das seit ungefähr einer Woche an und hab noch nicht klar, für welches Plugin ich mich entscheiden soll.

Ich hab mal die Wordpress-Plugin-Seite durchgesucht und ganz ganz verschiedene Hersteller entdeckt - also sehr viele Plugins sind am Markt: Darunter auch viele, die die notwendigen Features abdecken, die eine gute WordPress-Cookie-Zustimmung beinhalten muss:

Der Satz der hat gesessen - ich muss das auch machen. Also ich hab das gleiche Thema hier am Laufen. Muss mich auch mit den Cookies auseinandersetzen. Ich hab mal versucht eine Übersicht herzustellen, was ein Cookie-Plugin alles haben und können muss. - hier die Zusammenstellung auf die ich in der letzten Woche gekommen bin - und weiter unten dann eine Übersicht der Plugins die ich in die nähere Wahl gezogen habe.


Was für Features sollte ein WordPress-Plugin für ein Cookie-Opt-in alles haben?

Also es geht um die Frage, was sollte ein WordPress-Plugin für ein Cookie-Opt-in denn nun alles können?
Also ich finde, dass es möglich sein sollte, dass ein rechtskonformer Opt-in-Hinweis für Cookies auf WordPress-Websites sich im Grunde am einfachsten mithilfe eines Plugins erstellen lassen sollte. Und wenn man sich umguckt dann sieht man, dass es mittlerweile gibt es verschiedene Anbieter, deren Plugins die notwendigen Funktionen für entsprechende Cookie-Hinweisen bieten: Welche WordPress-Plugins sind für einen Opt-in-Hinweis zu empfehlen?

Einige der Must-Have-Features:

- Aktivierung von Cookies (erst !!!) nach aktivem Opt-in durch Website-Besucher; das bedeutet im Grund genommen;
- Cookies sollten, wenn es gut geht, in Cookie-Gruppen zusammengefasst werden können. Das hilft und macht die Arbeit mit Cookies übersichtlich;
- Man sollte es so machen, dass die Cookies erst nach der Zustimmung des Besuchers geladen werden (vgl. auch Cookie-Opt-in-Hinweis);
- Die Zustimmung jedes einzelnen Site-Besuchers sollte gespeichert werden - stored Cookie Consent (scc) (z.B. als Nachweis falls es mal zur juristischen Auseinandersetzung kommen sollte);
- Cookie Banner sollte m.E. gut konfigurierbar und anpassbar sein;
- externer Inhalt sollte geblockt werden können: sog. Content Blocker-Funktion z.B. gegen Content wie etwa Youtube, Google Maps, etc.: Das Blocking sollte so lang möglich sein, bis ein Benutzer der Anzeige der Inhalte zustimmt
- Konfigurierbarkeit ist wichtig: so sollte z.B. individuell es einstellbar sein, dass Cookies, die aus Plugins kommen, auch geblockt werden können:
- die Benutzeroberfläche sollte übersichtlich sein - mit der Möglichkeit, der Verwendung von einzelnen Cookies aktiv zuzustimmen - also es muss die Möglichkeit geboten werden, dem Einsatz von Cookies aktiv zuzustimmen
das schließt dann auch die Möglichkeit (für den Site-Betreiber!) ein, bei der Einwilligung vielleicht in verschiedene Kategorien
zu unterteilen, z.B: „das Cookie ist im Grunde technisch notwendig“, „Das Cookie dient der Datenanalyse“ oder „Das Cookie ist für Marketingzwecke da“ und oder „Das Cookie dient der Statistik“ – einzuteilen;
- Einfaches Handling bei gleichzeitig erhöhter Flexibilität für spezielle Ergänzungen - bzw. etwa auch für Sonderwünsche...
- Wichtig ist, dass die WordPress-Cookie-Plugin-Lösung im Grunde dann auch alle technischen Voraussetzungen mitbringen sollte, um uns einen rechtsgültigen Cookie-Hinweis mit Opt-in-Möglichkeit auf der Website erzeugen zu können. Das wär schon wichtig.
- und im Bezug auf die Usability kann man vielleicht sagen: ein gutes Cookie-Plugin sollte zwei Merkmale mitbringen: Es sollte so geschaffen sein, dass es den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen entspricht, und gleichzeitig möglichst viele unserer Seitenbesucher dazu bewegen, dem Einsatz von Cookies zuzustimmen.
- für die Inhalte und damit die Einhaltung aller rechtlichen Bestimmungen ist nämlich allein der Website-Betreiber verantwortlich. Und letzten Endes auch dafür, dass das WordPress Cookie-Plugin die gewünschte Aufgabe erfüllt.

last but not least sind ganz wichtig: Wichtig ist, dass ein WordPress-Cookie-Plugin alle Voraussetzungen mitbringt, um einen rechtskonformen Cookie-Hinweis umzusetzen. Denn es liegt in der alleinigen Verantwortung des Website-Inhabers sicherzustellen, dass die gesetzlichen Anforderungen durch das ausgewählte WordPress-Cookie-Plugin erfüllt werden.- auch ohne großes Expertenwissen sollte es möglich sein, eine rechtssichere Einbindung von Cookies einzurichten. Also ich würde mal sagen, dass es nach der DSGVO (bla) bezieht und verarbeitet – unabhängig von der Technik, die für die Datensammlung angewandt wird.

Zurück zur Ausgangsfrage von oben: Was sind denn überhaupt im Moment die besten WordPress-Cookie-Plugins, mit denen ein entsprechender WordPress-Cookie-Hinweis (WordPress-Cookie-Notice) gesetzt werden kann.

Mit der Einstellung "Nur essentielle Cookies akzeptieren" werden aktuell trotzdem externe Dienste Google Tag Manager und Facebook Connect eingebunden, da fehlt ggf. noch entspr. Konfiguration, externe Tracker sind nicht essentiell.

Bei der Seite Gästebuch wird zusätzlich noch der externe Dienst Gravatar eingebunden, hier hilft möglicherweise das Abschalten der Avatare in WordPress > Einstellungen > Diskussion > am Ende der Seite.

 

Falls diese Unterhaltung noch aktuell ist, bin zwar erst ein Jahr dabei was Wordpress angeht, aber in die Cookies habe ich viel Zeit gesetzt gehabt, und ich bin glücklich mit der Pro Version von "Real Cookie Banner". Das finde ich ganz ordentlich, wie die das angehen!

 

Das leidige Keks-Thema... ich habe für kleine Landingpages ohne Tracking-Trara das einfache GDPR, weil es nur eine schmale Zeile am Seitenende einnimmt und der Leser ohne Suchen Ja oder Nein anklicken kann - praktisch. Borlabs nutze ich allerdings für Unternehmensseiten, auf denen ich Social Media Links und Analytics einbaue. Probleme macht das Plugin allerdings, wenn ich die "Nervenschoner"-Browser-Erweiterung einschalte. Dann zerhaut es mir das Design. Seltsam. Aber den nutzen sicher nicht viele.

 

Wofür muss der Leser Ja oder Nein anklicken, wenn es kein Tracking-Trara gibt?

Cookie- bzw. Zustimmungsplugins wg. DSGVO/GDPR kann man nicht generell empfehlen, es kommt immer auf den Einzelfall an. Oft werden solche Plugins zudem einfach nur installiert, aber nicht richtig eingerichtet, was Sinn und Zweck des "Nervens" ad Absurdum führt.

Ergänzung: Die o.g. Kernöl Seite verwendet z.B. das Borlabs Plugin, bindet aber einfach trotzdem immer Google Tag Manager und Facebook Connect von externen Servern ein. Das Plugin ist dort also weiterhin falsch/nicht eingerichtet.

 

Einfach um auf Nummer Sicher zu gehen.
Und ja, viele sind falsch eingestellt. Es ist schon frech, wenn der Google Tag Manager als "notwendig" bewertet wird.

 

Wenn es nichts zum Zustimmen oder Ablehnen gibt, man das aber trotzdem abfragt oder auch gar nicht genutzte Dinge in einer Datenschutzerklärung aufführt, dann geht man damit nicht auf Nummer sicher, sondern zeigt nur relativ klar, dass man keine Ahnung hat, ob die eigene Webseite DSGVO konform ist oder nicht und dass die Abfrage bzw. Datenschutzerklärung nicht mit der nötigen Sorgfalt individuell passend erstellt wurde.

Viele solche Zustimmungsplugins sind nicht falsch sondern gar nicht eingestellt. Sie werden aufgrund irgendwelcher genereller Empfehlungen installiert und der unbedarfte Betreiber einer Webseite vermutet dann, es wäre damit alles erledigt. Oft ist auch der eigentlich technisch notwendige Sachverstand für eine solche Einrichtung, für ggf. dafür nötige Anpassungen im Code des Themes oder auch in Konfigurationen von anderen Plugins oder das Erkennen, dass die Einrichtung nicht oder fehlerhaft vorgenommen wurde, einfach nicht vorhanden.

Wie gesagt, es kommt bei diesem Thema immer auf den Einzelfall an.

Um nicht einen neuen Thread zu erstellen und dabei doch beim Thema zu bleiben: irgendwann habe ich bei meinen Recherchen gelesen, dass ein Cookie-Banner auf jeden Fall auch eine Möglichkeit bieten muss, das Setzen von Cookies abzulehnen. Dieser Button fehlt allerdings bei den meisten "Nervtöter-Bannern" . Somit verstoßen diese Banner gegen ?? irgendwas.
